Limit Switch

A limit switch detects the position of a moving part — a door, a slide, a machine guard, a lift — and sends a signal to stop, reverse or start the next step. This range covers Brisk limit switches with roller lever, plunger and roller plunger actuators.

How to choose

• Actuator type: roller lever for rotating or swinging parts, plunger for straight-line travel, roller plunger where the part rolls over the switch.
• Contact arrangement (normally open / normally closed) and current rating for your control circuit.
• Body material and mounting style for the environment (dusty, wet, or clean panel).
