Frequently asked questions about the Brisk BPS-002
What is the rating of the Brisk BPS-002?
The BPS-002 is rated 10A at 500V AC, 0.5A at 230V DC. Contacts: DPDT-DB (2 NO + 2 NC). Brisk states that it complies with IEC 60947-5-1.
What contact configuration does the BPS-002 have?
The BPS-002 has DPDT-DB (2 NO + 2 NC) contacts. DPDT-DB means two independent changeover contact sets with double-break contacts, giving 2 NO and 2 NC contacts.
Where is the Brisk BPS-002 used?
The BPS-002 is a Brisk limit switch with a pin plunger (basic, without operator) actuator. Typical uses: limit and position detection on machine tools and presses; conveyors and material-handling lines; general industrial machinery that needs a rugged 10A, 500V AC switch.
What is the difference between the BPS-002 and the BPS-001?
Both are Brisk limit switches. Comparing the datasheets: the BPS-002 has DPDT-DB (2 NO + 2 NC) contacts and the BPS-001 has SPDT-DB (1 NO + 1 NC). You can see the BPS-001 here: Brisk BPS-001 Precision Limit Switch with Pin Plunger (Basic). If you are unsure which one suits your machine, message us on WhatsApp 8800754881.
What is the operating life of the BPS-002?
The Brisk datasheet lists a mechanical life of 1 million operations and an electrical life of 1 lakh operations.
Can the BPS-002 switch DC loads?
Brisk lists 0.5A at 230V DC alongside the 10A at 500V AC rating. For DC loads, size the load to the DC rating.
Where can I download the BPS-002 datasheet?
You can download the official Brisk BPS-002 datasheet (PDF, 626 KB) from the datasheet section on this page: BPS-002 datasheet. It has the dimensions, wiring and full specifications.
Is the BPS-002 genuine, and do you provide a GST invoice?
Yes. Voltkart is an authorised distributor of Brisk, so you receive genuine Brisk products, and every order comes with a GST invoice.
